Oh the hotels are not too bad.. Except the one at Jeju abit crappy(what hawaii hotel) - Only 1 lift, think is 3* or below.. The one in Seoul provides free mineral water but too near to main road so abit noisy at night - No Aircon so must open windows.. I love the resort and hotel stay at Sorak and Odesan.. Very quiet, nice and clean. As for shopping - I think you wont have much time to shop la.. We reached hotel around 8-10pm everyday(except for odesan).. Jeju\'s got some shopping streets around the corner while seoul doesnt really have any(only minimarts)..

I had similar bad experience with Chan Brothers 2 years ago. Our trip to Tokyo came with 2 days free n easy (that\'s what we want so we can explore Tokyo on our own). However, Chan Brothers put us in a suburb away from Tokyo (this is their way to save on hotel and also easy for their despatch to airport). Imagine we had to travel by train everyday for 2 hours just to get to Tokyo and another 2 hours to be back to hotel. 4 hours is wasted everyday. We ended missing most of our plan in Tokyo. Before we left for the trip, we questioned the agent why the hotel is in suburb and not in Tokyo and she told us that its only less than an hour to Tokyo by train. Obviously she didnt know her work. When we came back to Singapore and lodge a compaint to Chan Brothers, it has gone to deaf ears! So you see, Big name doesn\'t mean Big in service. I never will travel with Chan Brothers and have told all my frenz about them. I hope you will also pass your bad experiences to your frenz so that they won\'t be cheated by such big name.

Had 2 bad experiences with them. Thought I would give them a chance at the NATAS fair.
1st time, the agent failed to contact me about ticket etc, I\\\\\\\'d to hunt him down at the 7th floor 2 days before my trip. Was supposed to collect my stuff a week earlier.Failed to call/respond days earlierHe knew I was pissed off, no satisfactory apologies etc.
2nd time-I made sure the personnel who served me knew I had a previous bad experience. Promised to email me a copy of the form I\\\\\\\'d filled up. I emailed her my passport details and requested her to email me back to confirm she has the details.Am still waiting for her reply to my email, sent days ago. Have decided to blacklist Chan Brothers.
