yes i agree with maverick, when I was at the CTC fair at suntec, i overheard an indian couple scolding the ctc staff just because the dates offered for one of those Super deals are not what they wanted. I mean come on la, it's a special offer, of course there will be certain terms and conditions.

We just got back from a 8D6N tour from South Korea via ChanBrothers. It was a small group (only 8 person), heard from other tour member that 8 other persons cancelled their trip (maybe due to the H1N1 worry). We were glad that ChanBrothers continue with the group. Because of the small size, we only had a local tour guide who met us at South Korea. I must say it was a very memorable trip for us, the tour guide was very good and helpful.

We wanted to experience the Korean culture, hence, although the meals may be simple (they all varied, but the small dishes made them look alike), we took this as a rare opportunity to savour the local \\\"delicacies\\\". What most worthwhile was those experiences and stories that the tour guide shared with us. I felt that I had learnt much about Korea and the Koreans. We had another trip to Australia with ChanBrothers two years ago, but we didn\\\'t get as much out of it as we have had this round. I think the tour guide makes a difference, and we had an extremely good one this time.

I was puzzled to read so many bad reviews against ChanBrothers, but I reckon experiences differ from tour to tour, and people to people. So, just thought to pen down something more positive.

Dishonest! Overcharge my airport taxes by $20each for my family, then keep quiet. Lucky their own airport staff show me the correct tax. Then when ask for refund, they say its UP TO CUSTOMER to bring the discrancy to their attention. want ME TO PRODUCE THE AIR TIKET WHICH THEY ISSUE FOR ME. dont they have records?

Finally the refund process, wait more than 6 months now. Call the manager Jenifer who is rude and abrupt. Make me feel that she is doing me a favour instead of her job. she promise to call me back but never. Subseqently refuse to return call. I have give up waiting for refund. Chan Brother, you can keep it ok?
