Btw, I\'ve booked my holidays to Europe this May and July 2010. I\'m not going to wait till NATAS. NATAS is only for the common folks who does not have class. Travelling is not about free gifts or discounts. Do you want to reflect and ask yourself \"What does travelling means to you?\"
Do we have to stay in the best hotels? Travel during non-peak seasons and miss the festivals like the bull-running festival in Spain? Do we anticipate big discounts for 2010?
Btw, 2010 I do not believe in big discounts since H1N1 is no longer or even worth to be mentioned in the news. All you people who have cancelled your 2009 trips are really plain ignorant, worried too much and no class. Well, you can bite back and say the same thing about me....\"If I have class, then why flaunt it here and even bothered to write down comments here\" That is because I\'ve read through all the comments and so-called feedbacks becoz I happened to have the time and also to check out what people have to say about this agency and found myself disgusted with the lack of imagination and lack of purpose for the feedbacks. C\'mon people, quality feedbacks is based on what can be improved on the itinerary and you have to read up, go for the trip, come back then provide a feedback. Example (East Coast USA trip does not have a night\'s stay at the Sheraton Niagara Fallsview Hotel) That\'s what I would say a good feedback.
It is not about cost, timeline or poor staff leading tours. All Singapore travel agencies will definitely use inexperienced staffs for tour-leadings somehow somewhere because of budget. If you expect the highest quality, then why don\'t you join Tauck Tours then. Ooooh Tauck is an international acclaimed land tour operator and certainly, they have super experienced tour managers. The price = SUPER HIGH becoz of great 5 star hotels, 5 star tour inclusions and meals and 5 star experiences coupled with 5 star Tour Managers. Can you pay?? If no, shut up. What a joke all of you. Ever been to Patagonia, Machu Picchu, Iguassu Falls, Cancun, Kingston, Tanzania or even Trondheim to see the aurora. If you haven\'t then please really shut up. God...these people here are primary school kids when comes to travelling.

THL: If the company staff too busy to PICKUP calls, do you think the same staff can MAKE calls to you? You mean you seriously BROWSED their website to EMAIL them to CALL you back? Does not sound like a logical thing to do! If you can bother to email them to call you, why not just provide them with travel details str8away? It's also highly unlikely that a big company like Chan Brothers will admit to you that they are too busy to check their (sic) website for email enquiries, unless their company only consists of maybe ten monkeys manning the phone lines.
You sounds more like a disgruntled ex-employee trying to flame your company. You actually have the audacity to write that you blame them for getting drenched in the rain? Hello, heard of an umbrella?
Anyone who has travelled before knows that you can do your own airline checkin and request for whatever damn seats you want (except the cockpit seats, in case you are wondering). It's unlikely that anyone can stop you from sitting together. Your comments about the "guide" seem to suggest that people who travel to bangkok and people who travel to australia are different breeds with different needs, and perhaps australia travellers like to sit apart, hence the "guide" was not trained to handle bangkok passengers? Again your account seems more like a personal attack.
With all your personal bad experiences you keep coming back to chan brothers? And seem to delight yourself in accumulating more bad experiences? It's like banging your head against the wall just for the thrill of feeling your own blood trickle down your face! Why not give other travel agents a chance for your valued patronage and for the chance of your esteemed and valued review appearing in this obscure website?
I agree with Kon Shen that you just wanna bitch but don't have the bladdy guts to do it in the right channel, ie directly to the chan brothers. Flaming is a cowardly way of complaining and shows that you have no intention at all of getting your views heard or replied.

My husband & I book a Hokkaido 7d 5n. They place a inexperience tour consultant, all the package is a pack of lie. Call their office line. never call back, lodge a complaint to their e-mail address also no respone. I think chan brother are out to delibrately mis-leading customers. Bad service, never travel with them again. Any one know how to complaint to Anthony Chan, feel that he need to know how good his staff is?
