On arrival at Auckland airport you will be met and transferred to your accommodation.

Day 3:
AUCKLAND/BAY OF ISLANDS
This morning depart Auckland heading over the Auckland Harbour bridge and tour north via the Hibiscus Coast to the beautiful Bay of Islands.

Day 4:
BAY OF ISLANDS
A day to enjoy the many leisure activities available perhaps a day excursion along ninety mile beach to Cape Reinga, deep sea fishing, a mini tour of historic Russell or perhaps a craft tour of Keri Keri. These can be arranged at time of booking.
Day 5:
BAY OF ISLANDS/AUCKLAND
Included this morning is a boat cruise to cape Brett and the famous Hole in the Rock”. Alternatively, at time of booking, pay a minimal upgrade price and choose from a Dolphin Adventure, Tsunami Day Sailing Adventure or Cream Trip Super Cruise. Upon completion return to Auckland.

AUCKLAND/WAITOMO/ROTORUA
Today travel south to Rotorua via the fascinating Waitomo Caves. Here you will experience a guided tour of the famous Glowworm Grotto featuring an underground boat ride. Continue on to Rotorua.

Day 7:
ROTORUA SIGHTSEEING
Today you will experience the many varied sights that Rotorua has to offer. Visit a New Zealand wildlife park to see bird life, trout and other native wild life. Then on to a performing sheep show followed by a visit to the Te Puai Thermal Reserve. Learn about traditional Maori crafts at the Maori Arts And Crafts Institute and then enjoy an afternoon at leisure.
Day 8:
ROTORUA/CHRISTCHURCH
Today you will be transferred to Rotorua airport to join your flight to Christchurch. Upon arrival in Christchurch we will transfer you to your accommodation. We suggest that you take the chance to enjoy some of the optional activities. Arrange your own domestic flight for today.

Day 9:
CHRISTCHURCH/MOUNT COOK/QUEENSTOWN
This morning travel south, across the Canterbury Plains. Continue alongside the Tasman River to Mount Cook National Park, where we suggest a scenic flight over some of New Zealand’s finest alpine scenery. Continue on to Queenstown.

Day 10:
MILFORD SOUND DAY EXCURSION
Travel along the shores of Lake Wakatipu to Te Anau, gateway to the Fiordland National Park. View the Mirror Lakes, Eglinton Valley and the Homer Tunnel. Join your Milford Sound Red Boat cruise, for an unforgettable experience. In the afternoon you return to Queenstown.
Day 11:
QUEENSTOWN/GLACIERS
Travel north today via Lakes Wanaka and Hawea. Enjoy the rugged West Coast scenery through Haast Pass before arriving at the spectacular Glaciers.

Day 12:
GLACIERS/CHRISTCHURCH
(An alternative coach will operate this sector over certain months of the year) We depart the Glaciers heading to Greymouth where we join the scenic TranzAlpine train (Coach passengers only) for a journey famous for its spectacular mountain scenery. Relax and enjoy the scenic view as we traverse the Southern Alps, which divide the South Island.

DEPART CHRISTCHURCH
Today you will be transferred to the airport. However we hope you will take the time to extend your stay.
