Day 1:

Auckland - Rotorua

Travel by coach over Bombay Hills and across the Waikato Valley to Rotorua.

Your half-day tour included - you will see roaring geysers, boiling mud pools at the thermal area, tame trout at the springs and performing sheep and dogs at the Agrodome.

Hotel: Lake Plaza or similar

Day 2:

Rotorua - Lake Taupo

Drive south through the exotic forests to Wairakei and Lake Taupo. An afternoon tour takes you to all the highlights of Taupo.

Hotel: Wairakei Resort

Day 3:

Lake Taupo - Tongariro National Park

This morning is free before driving around the Lake and on to Mt Ruapehu (an active volcano). The rest of this afternoon and tomorrow morning are available for trekking in the Tongariro National Park.

Hotel: Grand Chateau

Day 4:

Tongariro National Park - Auckland

This morning is free for optional activities before you join the Overlander train to either Auckland where you arrive at approximately 7.30pm.

They are a wholesaler for New Zealand packages to other agencies. If you wan to go to New Zealand they have many packages and can be custom made. Had a wonderful time with them last Sept when we when to Auckland, Waitomo Caves and Rotorua.
